3 Dozen Red Roses

The most amazing Roses arrived today from Portland. Only 230 miles to the south, my orders arrive within 24hrs, the packing ice still frozen. Talk about fresh!!!
After a long day of driving, home school classes and errands it was treat to find them waiting on my porch.
It's funny, even though I grow tens of thousands of blooms every year, my heart still quickens when I meet a new variety.

These 'Piano' Roses are destined for a Chocolatier's holiday open house this weekend.
I'll be sure to capture the magic and share it soon.
